IMPORTANT DETAILS

After completing the online registration, please complete the following:

Payments - ALL FEES ARE DUE UPON REGISTRATION.
The total cost for the 2024 season per cheerleader is $550. This cost includes:

  • Registration fee of $375 - covers practices, competition fees, music fees, cheer conference registration, uniform rental
  • Cheer package fee of $175 - covers team t-shirts, cheer shoes and competition hair bow

** Registration fees only are capped at $700 per family. All cheerleaders must pay the full cheer package fee.

Checks should be made out to Falcons Cheer and mailed to: Bianca Rivera, 542 Redding Road, Redding, CT 06896. 

Paperwork – All forms are due prior to July 29th. Cheerleaders cannot participate until all forms are received. They can be turned in at the team meeting in June or mailed to the above address. 
Note: Redding-Easton Falcons Cheer belongs to a local conference that requires validation of ORIGINAL birth certificates for anyone new to the program. You will need to turn in an ORIGINAL birth certificate in August. Cheer Commissioner Leila Herrman will have them reviewed and validated by the conference. The original will then be returned to you unharmed. 

No one is allowed to participate or receive a uniform without turning in payment and paperwork. 

Forms will be emailed to all registrants in May, after completing the online registration.  
The following forms will be required for each cheerleader:

  1. Medical Information
  2. Medical Clearance -  This form requires a SIGNATURE from your doctor. 
  3. Participant Tracker
  4. Image Release
  5. Liability Waiver
  6. Concussion Statement
  7. AYF Code of Conduct
  8. Anti-Bullying Contract

Forms must be turned prior to July 29th with the exception of the birth certificate.  ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE will be turned in at a later date in August.

Schedule – The season starts the last week of July. 

Practices will be held on Monday through Thursday evenings in August. A schedule will be provided as the season gets closer. Cheerleaders may only miss up to 5 days of practice in August due to conference requirements.

Following Labor Day weekend, practices move inside. Each team practices 2-3 times a week, usually 1-2 weeknights and Saturdays. School year practices are required and absences are only excused for health or religious reasons, family emergency, funeral, etc. Practice days and times will be determined later in the summer. 

Competitions – Attendance at competitions is MANDATORY.

  • Locals: October 19 (North Haven High School)

  • States: November 2 (Mohegan Sun)

  • Regionals (must qualify): November 16 (Lowell, MA)

  • Nationals (must quality): early December in Orlando, Florida

Premier tumbling center was a dream that became a reality for head coach Nick Tiffany who began gymnastics at age 5 and awarded a spot in the junior olympics by age 10. At age 9 he held 12 gold medals, 4 silvers, and 9 bronzes. He took first place in the Dagget meet where he competed against 300 athletes from 8 different states. Nicholas has also won the world cup meet and the international invitation meet competing against over 200 gymnasts.
